Todd Stabley is an artist and designer working in photography, writing and the web. His recent work designing web applications grows from his family's Detroit photo archive handed down from his grandparents. He first built the site in Flash in 2004 and has since reconstructed and expanded it for the modern web. In Twenty-One Negatives he reads an anonymous 1939 album frame by frame, marking what is evidence and what is imagined. He lives in North Carolina and works at Duke University supporting enterprise media applications.
